​​Patty, Pints & Prints: Crafting the Perfect Shirt

For over a decade, Tiny Planet Ink has been Cherry Cricket's trusted print partner. We've supported their growth by supplying everything from in-store merchandise and event/holiday t-shirts to uniforms for their entire team. Our collaboration extends to key moments like the successful grand opening of their Littleton restaurant in June 2023, and we're currently gearing up for their new Broomfield, Colorado location, set to open in late 2025.

The Brand

Instantly recognizable, The Cherry Cricket benefits from deep community roots and a distinct brand identity. Their friendly color palette of tans, greens, yellows, and reds truly sets them apart in the neighborhood.

The Cherry Cricket's artwork projects a friendly, laid-back attitude, characterized by its hand-drawn nature and intentionally uneven lines. Their most popular design, the "Pop Cricket" series, proudly features their signature billboard next to a simple line drawing of their facade.

Garment

The Next Level 6210 shirt stands out as a top seller due to its superior comfort and competitive price. Made with a robust 60/40 cotton-polyester blend, this garment is tough enough to handle the busy restaurant shifts.

Mockups & Press Check

Once garments are sourced and sizing is confirmed, I create a detailed mockup for client sign-off. After approval, I prepare the artwork for the automatic press, including color separation in Adobe Illustrator. From there, I move to the darkroom and burn the image onto a silk screen mesh.
